"Home" - Solo Exhibition
I was commissioned by the Creative Youth Network to create work for a solo exhibition in 2019. I used a variety of techniques, such as hand embroidery, free-hand machine embroidery, appliqué, cyanotypes, as well as digitally printing patterns onto fabric.
These are some examples of my illustrative free-hand machine embroidery.
Embroidery - The Shape of Water
A series of textile pieces depicting my interpretation of the many beautiful patterns and shapes found in water, using foiling techniques, applique and free-hand machine stitch.
Embroidery - Journey Through Time
A collection of free-hand machine embroidered drawings with black thread depicting a journey through the woods
Embroidered and Screen-printed Clothing Collection, 2020
Here are some examples of handmade clothes with my own screen-printed and embroidered designs.
Garota Hacker Fashion Project, 2019
I collaborated with young creatives from Brazil’s third largest slum, known as Garota Hacker. Together we upcycled old clothing to create a sustainable fashion collection. I combined my skills in hand embroidery and dressmaking to create garments which were exhibited on a runway in Cabot Circus, Bristol.
