Melissa is a visual artist who specialises in illustration and textiles. Her work features vibrant colour, playful pattern-making and a variety of textural surfaces. Much of Melissa's work celebrates being in harmony with nature, and also explores visual storytelling.
She has created artwork for organisations, including textile work for The Cube Cinema in Bristol, logo illustrations for Rising Arts Agency, and a body of work as part of a residency at the Creative Youth Network. Melissa is also a freelance workshop Facilitator at various organisations around Bristol, including the Royal West of England Academy. In this line of work she has become passionate about sharing her knowledge with others, enjoying connecting with the community through creativity.
